Just Ask / Q&A

Q: If I only do one thing this year to make my business more energy efficient, what would you recommend?
Kari G., Mt. Vernon, IA

A: In many cases, adding more insulation will have a dramatic impact on your energy bills. But every business is different, so it is difficult to say which energy-efficiency improvement makes the most sense for you. That’s why we recommend getting a business energy audit. This low-cost or sometimes free assessment by a certified energy expert will give you a complete analysis of your facility, pinpointing where your energy dollars are going, and what improvements will save you the most money. Learn more about energy audits for small business or commercial and industrial customers.
